At The Pump

Has anyone been noticing the gas prices lately? I remember two years ago the gas price was in and around the $3.50 mark, give or take. Back then I thought it was high, especially coming from the East Coast, but now, it is out of control. Now, it seems like it is always over $5.00/gallon. It is so unfortunate for us, because we all depend so heavily on gas. I wonder if I should invest in a bicycle... hahaha...just kidding. Nonetheless, it is shocking to see how expensive it has gotten, and to my understanding, it is even more expensive in other States, like California.

  2. Yea just paid $6.59 for premium (eye roll). I legit feel like they trying to push electric cars on us. Cali is always more expensive.

  3. I think maybe the angriest I've been in a really long time, was when I got back to the mainland, and discovered ya'll were paying more than I was in Hawai'i. I couldn't get over the sticker shock.

So much for trying to escape the higher cost of living...

  5. It is indeed out of control. I spent $75 today to fill my tank at Costco. My tank carries 15 gallons. After today I will try my hardest to never let my car get down to E. It is so crazy because I just spent $45 like a week and a half ago, same car same place, same completely empty tank.

  8. These gas prices are crazy! I remember back in the day when I'd only get gas from Chevron, medium grade gas only. Now... its the regular grade from Murphy Express haha.

  9. Gas prices are ridiculous. I hope prices come back down soon, I'm really considering electric cars, I've got to do my research first though, I don't know much about them yet.

  10. Last year I was talked out of purchasing a Tesla. Never making that mistake again.

  11. People have been drilling into other peoples gas tanks just for some gas in the Las Vegas valley. It's very selfish because then people have to pay to repair their gas tanks. If you cannot afford gas with your current wages, then you should use public transportation until prices drop or you figure out better employment. Thieves these days smh.
